Understand your skin type. Always buy gentle or mild soap when purchasing face wash and other such body cosmetics. Avoid products with excessive fragrances. Washing your faces thrice in a day is a good move.

Face wash – Washing face for minimum 3 times a day is very important in acne treatment. It is advisable not to touch or handle the pimple. You should not touch pimple with bear hands as dust of your hands can make it worst. Handling the pimple is only going to make it worse.

Use a mild suitable face wash After you wash your face wipe it with a towel not used by anybody else before and make sure you wash that towel every day. Don’t wipe it harshly.

Change your food habits. Do not use the same towel on a daily basis. Lot of oil is not good for acne but there is no direct connection between the two. If it makes you feel better, stay away from oily foods and eat healthy foods only. Improve your dietary habits and have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. This is good for your skin. Minimum 7 hours sleep is required for any healthy person.

While putting any medicine to acne use cotton or tissue as there are chances of infection. Use cotton or tissue to avoid infection.

Ensure you sleep well for at least seven hours every day. If you apply medicine using your own hand or if you do not consider your skin type, chances are high that infection is only going to increase. Consult your doctor and before you proceed. Control your food consumption and avoid oily foods.

However, if the problem has covered your face or has lasted more than a month, you should take remedial action immediately. Going to the doctor is advisable in such circumstances.
