So you wake up in the morning pumped and ready to start the day. Then you look at your face in the mirror and….

Darn it! It’s time to get your party on and guess what? Your acne is blaring. That is the worse possible thing that could happen, especially when you are trying to impress the opposite sex.As you stare in the mirror, the only thing you are thinking is FML

Be easy though. Your night is not over This advice will help you get rid of zits in no time! First of all, don’t you ever, and I mean ever pop or irritate your acne by picking at it. If there is one thing that will make your acne worse, that is it, and it will also take longer to clear up, which of course, is the last thing you want. It might even leave a permanent mark on your face which may take years to go! Worse case scenario, the acne will leave a scar and will take years to clear up.

In order to get rid of zits quickly, and if you must pick at them, only do so after you have thoroughly washed your hands with an anti-bacterial soap. You probably don’t think about it too often, but you do have quite a bit of germs on your hands which will cause further acne infection, so remember to wash them! Before you begin your treatment wash off your face with a medicated soap. Try and use lukewarm water as it helps to open up your blocked pores. Once you have washed your face pat it dry with a towel. It is imperative that you pat down your face instead of scrubbing it because scrubbing could harm the soft regenerate tissues in your face. You can remove acne now by applying benzoyl peroxide solution or salicylic acid topical cream on your zit. Salicylic Acid is best for acne.

Once you have done this basic skin treatment on your zits, its time for you to get rid of zits. Having done that, its time to use a medicated moisturizer on your pimple. Ensure that your zit is one hundred percent oil free as an ointment can only make matters worse for your zit which will take a long time to cure. However you cant really avoid applying moisturizer to your zits as if you do so your zits will end up being dry and irritable to your skin. Similarly, there is the option to use a medicated concealer such as an acne vanishing cream, which also helps removing pimples as they are cured faster. For overnight solutions, you should cover them with a medicated acne tape.

If you don’t have any of those ingredients, and you are the frugal type, it would be a good idea to try home made solutions including a mix of toothpaste, balm and lotion. Keep it overnight and see amazing results in the morning! If your zits are really bad they will be reddish in appearance and painful. These may take 1-2 days to cure, so be patient. Once again do not poke it with your dirty hands or try to scrub it off, this will only worsen your zit and make it difficult for you to get rid of zits. You can get acne vanishing creams at your local drug store or wal-mart. If possible consult a dermatologist before purchasing an acne treatment so that they can test your skin type and advise you on which chemicals to avoid so it doesn’t cause and allergic reaction. Anyways, hopefully this article gave you some practical advice that will help you!
